Hard work pays off

Ok I redid my profile on the online dating site. What I did this time was I made less aggressive and tried to come off as a sensitive gentleman. I think that is what girls are looking for initially. What the hell am I doing drinking in LA at 26?? Like duh so yeah. I also listed a lot of interests on there and also removed all the immature sounding interests like video games and stuff. It's not like I am lying, I am just withholding all the shitty stuff about me until after they fall for me... is that so bad? I don't think it is. I really don't. I happy in the haze of a drunken hour, but heaven knows I'm miserable now. Well not totally miserable but you know what I am saying. Anyways my profile is much better now and I have been getting good results. However, let me say that just because my profile is really good, doesn't mean that I just sit back and girls message me. That does not happen usually. Most of the time YOU have to be the one that sends out that initial message. So this means you have to stay on top of your game and make sure that you look at the site everyday so that you can look at the girls that joined in the last 24hrs that live really close to you so that you have first dibs on them. If you wait then other guys will be messaging them first and there is a HUGE advantage to being the first guy they take interest in that sends them somewhat intelligent messages.

So because I have been very diligent about always checking the site at the same time every morning and making sure I am not sending out retarded sounding messages I am getting a good result back. I am chatting with 8 different girls right now. Some of them on just MSN and haven't met them yet. Others I have talked to on the phone and stuff and I have been on one date so far since I ramped up operations. The battlestation is now operational! *high fives Vader*. I won't really bother telling you too much about the girls that I haven't gone out with because those are more a work in progress and once i take them out then I will give you the low down. So on Saturday I told her we should meet for coffee and she agreed. I met up with her at this little joint called Common Ground Cafe. It was a pretty cool place where cool people tried not to look cool and as a result... looked cool. I am not sure if we looked cool in there or if we looked uncool because we looked normal Anyways we sat and drank coffees and talked for hours on end about our likes and dislikes and giggled a lot. Next thing I knew it was 6pm and I was getting really hungry so I asked her if she would be interested in going out for dinner and she said yes.

We headed over to this restaurant called Obrycki's Crab House & Seafood Restaurant and ate some crab. I really like crab meat and I eat crab cakes whenever I see them on a menu etc. We had some wine and drank and ate and my mind was pretty carefree I have to say. I haven't had that good of a time in a while. I think it would be ironic if this girl, the first girl, turned out to be the one I ended up hooking up with her. Hmmm I hope she never reads this blog and realizes that I may end up dating more than one girl at a time. I mean I want to make sure I end up with a girl that I am really truly compatible with and that means I need to court more than 1 girl at a time. It is just like sales you can't just focus one customer who MIGHT buy, you need to keep prospecting so that is what I am doing. After dinner we shared a cab ride back to her place than we had a nice kiss in the taxi and called it a night. I have been chatting with her everyday since then on the phone and she wants to get together again this coming weekend. I will update this blog more once I do that and stuff.
