Club hopping with new friends

Oops, didn't mean to wait so long between posts. Let me update you guys on what happened on the weekend with Monica and the whole clubbing thing with her friends. We didn't end up going out on the weekend I thought we were going to. She had to cancel because she said she wasn't feeling well. Whatever that means. I will never know if she was telling the truth or just punking me off. Anyhoo I had a good time and I will spell out exactly how it all went down.

I played baseball with my buddies on Saturday afternoon - it's a thing we do every Sat to stay in shape and have some fun etc. We played from noon until 3 pm and then when we were done we all went back to my buddy Drew's place to drink beers and play video games. This little after party is part of the same ritual. Good times. We were playing UFC Unleashed, Rockband 2, and some Pro Evolution Soccer, oh yeah and we played Trivial Pursuit also which is kinda cool but I prefer the board game version. I drank about 4 beers while I was there and at some point my crazy friend Stewart decided it was time for everyone to do Jaeger shots. I ended up doing about 3 of them. We ordered some pizza and wings around 5pm and I left his place around 6pm and got a drive home from my friend Alex who doesn't drink.

Got in, rolled a fat joint, put on some music and cracked another beer. Around 8pm I finally called a taxi cuz I had to meet Monica and her friends at Baja Beach Club. I was already buzzing nicely by the time I got there. I hate going to a club or a lounge or somewhere where you are meeting friends and having to stand in the doorway and look around like a knob. So that is what I did, and then saw a group of 8 people that Monica was with. I could barely recognize her as I had only seen 2-3 pics of her in her online profile. It was like slow motion walking over to this table of 8 people drinking and chatting and have them all slowly turn and look/check me out. One by one I was introduced to each person. A few solid handshakes and a few dead fish shake as well, man I friggin dead fish handshakes. There were 5 girls and 3 guys, and the thing was that they were all just friends and no one was in a relationship. It was quite a unique group dynamic, something I had never experienced before.

They were all drinking beers except one of the guys who was drinking rum and coke. I really wanted to switch to drinking straight vodka but I didn't want to appear to hardcore or extreme so I just ordered a beer. They were chatting about the usual bullshit. A few of her friends were hot, but Monica was by far the hottest girl in the group. The guys were acting a bit protective of her. It's not like they actually said anything, but I could just tell that was how they felt from the vibe they were putting out. I was half ripped and pretty high, and I was going to stay quiet and just observe but the next thing I know I was chatting about something and had the whole group in stitches laughing.

Around 10pm we left that place and headed over to a club called "Sonar". The place was pumping already at 10pm which was cool cuz I hate going to a club early and it's half dead and no one is dancing. Not exactly the kind of place that is an escape. The club was fun as hell, we all danced in a group of 8 and sometimes random people would join us. All of the girls were hot enough that they had guy on them pursuing them trying to talk to them. All three guys had game and were macking chicks all night. I had a few random girls come up to me and ask me my name and shit, but they weren't as hot as Monica so I basically just toyed with them for a bit then sent them on their way. I think this was getting Monica turned on, watching me be pursued by other girls.

Around 12:30am we left Sonar and headed over Club Hippo. As soon as we got in the place we all went to the bar and they were having drink specials on shooters so Randy one of the guys, ordered us a round of shooters, I'm not sure what kind they were cuz when I asked him what he ordered he just said some fruity tasting shooters. Downed those, and then Debbie one of the girls decided to order a round herself for us and on and on it went until we had all done 4 shooters of god knows what. Then we each got our drinks and headed out to the dance floor. One of Monica's friends named Jennifer started to touch me a lot, grabbing my arm etc and I was like uh oh. She was kinda hot so I played with her for a while and let her just do whatever she wanted. I noticed some latin girls around us watching and smiling. I was like damnnn what a great night. So nice for the old ego which had needed a boost. The effects of the 4 shooters were starting to kick in for me and also for everyone else in the group cuz the vibe changed to crazyiness within a short time heh. I decided to pull out a joint and fire it up. Passed it around to a few people in the group who smoked and after that things started to get really blurry - and that was for me with my high tolerance. The other guys who smoked in my group were really wasted lol and almost falling over. Luckily the place was packed shoulder to shoulder so no bouncers could really see how messed up we were. I really don't remember much after, all I remember was walking up at one of the guy's places the next morning named Jake along 2 of the other guys and 2 of the other girls. I guess those who were too fucked up to make home ended up here. at least I found my way to a spare bedroom and didnt pass out on the floor or some other hard surface where I would have woke up with a backache lol. I gathered my shit and headed home with a massive headache. Good times indeed. Still haven't spoken to Monica since that night. Waiting for her to message me online.
