I never ended up going clubbing with Monica because she said she had to go visit her folks on the weekend. I did go out on the weekend and I will update you guys on that tomorrow or whatever. Monica came over last night... I same came over because she drove over to my pad and brought the new Star Trek DVD with her. Neither of us had seen the movie before and I got a nice 42" plasma (I don't go out to movies - I wait until they are on DVD or BluRay then watch em at home). So yeah like I said she drove over to my condo and I watched her pulling up... she drives a brand new Mustang Cobra which I thought was pretty hot. She brought a 6 pack of Stella Artois and some popcorn which was cool.

The movie was amazing. J.J. Abrams did an awesome job directing it and all the action was really good. When the movie first started and they showed Kirsten Dunst as the mother of Kirk I was like wtf this movie is gonna suck because she is in it, but then she was only in the opening scene where she escapes the burning up ship in an escape pod and gives birth on that ship while Kirk's dad is on the ship and takes over as captain because the original captain gets pwned by the romulans or whatever the hell they are called. He basically kamikazees the ship into their ship and allows dunst to escape ok with kirk.

Then it fast forwards to Kirk in his early 20's all cocky and a great pilot etc. He hooks up with Spock of course who is played by the guy who plays Sylar on Heroes, his real name is Zachary Quinto. He did an amazing job as Spock, as they could really have made the movie suck by picking the wrong guy but they didn't. Basically these romulans ended up going through some kind of time warp thingy and travelled back in time and I'm pretty sure it was Eric Bana playing the main bad dude. The guy from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle played Sulu and he did a great job - all the acting was really good. They made the movie modern and totally not cheesy which was frickin awesome.

Leonard Nemoi was in the movie too which was cool and the old spock and the young spock actually meet at one point which is really cool. There is an awesome scene where they drop this long cord thingy with a drill on the end so they can drill into this planet in hopes to insert a bomb later into it. Kirk and Sulu skydive down and land on this thing in one of the coolest sci-fi scenes I have ever seen. Sulu has a sword and he kicks ass with it pretty good. There is lots of humour in the movie which is cool and this newcomer Chris Pine does a really good job as Captain Kirk. It was definitely one of the best sci-fis I have ever seen and I love sci-fis.

I hope they make some sequels and stuff - make this into a franchise cuz I would definitely go see those movies as well. So back to Monica... while we were watching the movie we just kind of sat beside each other but near the end of the movie our hands touched and I was telling myself "just go for it" and I grabbed her hand and she was cool with it. When the movie was over we made out on my couch for about 2 hours. I really wanted to take her into the bedroom but she wasn't giving me that vibe. I think she wanted to take things kind of slow which is cool.

She said that this coming weekend she wants me to meet her circle of friends and go clubbing so I will let you all know how that goes.

So tonight I have another date with that Russian girl, but last night I went out with a Ukranian girl. I dunno what it is with me meeting lots of eastern European girls lately, but hey, I'm not complaining. I decided to take her to a place I haven't been before called Obryckis Crab House and Seafood Restaurant down on Pratt St. I like seafood, I mean I'm not a huge fan and I was hoping there would be something on the menu that looked interesting to me. She decided to order the same thing as me so we just asked for two of everything which I thought was kind of cool, and at the same time kinda freaked me out because that is the kind of thing girls who want relationships do and you know I don't want a relationship. We started with some crab cakes which were some of the best I have ever had, and then we moved on to a crab entree which was good as well. I had a few Martini's and she drank vodka and cranberry juice. Gotta love eastern Europeans and their vodka lol. I think she asked for Absolut vodka, and I was almost ready for her to request Stolichnaya brand but she didn't lol. I personally don't eat desert after I eat a meal but she opted to have some kind of chocolate cake which looked damn good and she looked damned good eating it. She was a blonde (not sure yet if that is her real hair colour) and she had very pouty full lips just like the Russian girl I took out last weekend and am taking out tomorrow night. She is 26 years old, first time I have dated an older woman... older woman lol that sounds funny since we are both in our twenties... anyways she is a dental hygienist here in Baltimore. She seems like she makes good money (or she is a gold digger) because she had a nice louis vuitton purse and was dressed in nice clothing. I am no sloth, but she was looking better than me.

We left the restaurant by taxi and headed over to Sky Lounge Tango Tapas on Marshall St for some after dinner drinks. The place is really cool and very loungy. Sucked back a few more Martini's and she had some more vodka cranberries while we talked about all the usual date stuff. She left Ukraine when she was 10 years old so she still has an accent which I found pretty sexy. Although earlier I was getting a "I wanna be your girlfriend vibe from her" I wasn't getting that now. The place was very busy because it was Friday night and on the way to the washroom I passed by this SMOKING HOT redhead with a bob cut and I was like wow... I sort of stared at her and she smiled back... I decided to quickly chat her up and let her know I was on a date right now but that it was our first date and nothing serious and that she should give me her phone number so we can "chat"... I'm not sure what gave me the confidence to do that, but it worked! I snaked my way back to the table and as soon as I got back my date wanted to go, so we left. I don't think she actually saw me talk to this redhead.

So we take a taxi to her place and in the taxi ride there I noticed she was kind of rambling and slurring which is not good, clearly she had one too many vodka and cranberries. We pulled up in front of her place and she was just staring at me beaming, clearly wanted me to kiss her, so we exchanged a crazy sloppy kiss for what seemed like 3-4 mins while the taxi driver sat their awkwardly waiting, watching the meter climb higher and higher. She asked me to come up with her, but I told her no, I have to work in the morning. She asked me again, and I turned her down again... I have a theory about sleeping with a girl on the first date. I won't get into it now, but let's just say I convinced her it was better if we got together another time. She seemed kind of shocked, kind of pissed off, said whatever and got out of the car.

For the rest of the ride home to my place, I could feel the taxi driver's energy and could see him staring in the rear view mirror in disbelief that I had just turned down this girl. I could tell that he was tempted to say something, and I was saved by the bell when his cell phone ring and he started chatting with the other person in some language I could not understand. So tomorrow is my 2nd date with this Russian girl and I have something interesting planned
